I Like Comedy was created in June 2006, an idea brought to reality by a goofy guy that enjoyed watching the many hilarious comedy videos supplied by YouTube, Inc (YouTube). Founded in February 2005, YouTube is a consumer media company for people to watch and share original videos worldwide through a Web experience.

Comedy is an integral part of our lives, we hear it on the radio, watch it on televion and read it in print. Obtaining comedy on the Internet, with I Like Comedy is a natural fit.

I Like Comedy will hopefully become a key portal for people to obtain a daily dosage of comedy related content.

I Like Comedy is a website, and a world-wide declaration, for people to enjoy the vast amount of hilarious and crazy comedy content that exists on the Internet. Hello Everyone!

Thanks for checking out the "Who" behind the "What".

My name is Patrick, and this website was created as a project to jump-start my adventures in being "Self-Centered", hence the website name I Like Comedy.

The idea behind this website came from watching comedy videos on the YouTube website. YouTube offers a developer api into their database of thousands of videos submitted by their members, and I saw an opportunity to do something.. "Neato!"

I enjoy comedy, I love comedy, I Like Comedy! I enjoy watching comedy videos.. It is so easy to become emersed in the crazy things that people purposely do, and the mishaps that are captured on film un-scripted. This website tries to centralize just a fraction of the comedy content that exits on the internet. Some people might say that I am re-inventing the wheel. But, I'll just keep moving and doing me.

Hopefully this website becomes a place where many people can enjoy the comedy in life, that comedy that leaves you holding your stomach at times, laughing hard and even snorting.
